ENDURANCE TESTS
The functionality endurance tests measure the length of the resiliency to repeated strains or stress factors of various kinds. The length of the endurance must stay within specifically set times and values.
The main stress factors used in the endurance checks are the following:
- force
- static or dynamic load
- pneumatic pressure
- temperature
- repeated movement
- production peaks.
In many industrial fields the functionality endurance tests are carried out for two purposes: to improve the quality, the design, the materials and the production processes as well as to check that the performaces of the products respect the mandatory requirements.
In the automotive field, the endurance tests are used mainly to test the functionality endurance of mechanisms or particular functional devices.
The devices for the endurance tests of GS Finishing Machines can be customized so as to have a system to automatically save the testing parameters and results for the possible storage and processing and to have the possibility to stop the process if the article does not reach or respect the testing parameters.
