MICRO-PERCUSSION MARKING
Micro-percussion marking or micro-dot marking of thermoplastics.
Marking with various depths thanks to the contact between punch and marking area.
MICRO-PERCUSSION MARKING
Micro-percussion marking of plastics, also called micro-dot marking, happens by contact between a punch and the surface to mark. The punch moves along two axes (axis X and axis Y), forming the alpha-numeric codes and the shapes to mark on the articles in the marking area. The movement of the punch is numerically controlled.
The micro-percussion marking device can work electro-mechanically or with compressed air.
With micro-dot marking it is possible to mark with various depths alpha-numeric codes, fixed and variable texts, progressive numbers, production and serial codes, 2D matrices, logos and graphic configurations in general.
The micro-dot-marked articles can be produced by means of injection moulding, extrusion moulding, compression moulding, thermoforming, blow moulding, suction 2D/3D (2k) and rotational moulding.
Among the components micro-dot-marked by the customized machineries of GS Finishing Machines there are the following, listed as an example: tanks, pipes, air conveyors, locks and light cases.
