MARKING BY ENGRAVING
Marking of plastics by hot and cold incision.
Linear, angular and circular marking of each kind of surface.
MARKING BY ENGRAVING
Marking by engraving is also called punch-marking since it uses a punch that carves the surface of the component to mark. It can be carried out with hot or cold punch.
The punch can carry out linear, angular and circular markings and engrave curved and irregular surfaces too, so that this technique can be applied to a great range of components.
The depth of the incision goes from the minimum that can be read to the maximum achievable, depending on the shape of the component to mark.
Punch marking can be used to mark alpha-numeric codes, fixed texts, production and serial codes, 2D matrices, logos and graphic configurations in general.
The articles marked by engraving can be produced by means of injection moulding, extrusion moulding, compression moulding, thermoforming, blow moulding, suction 2D/3D (2k) and rotational moulding.
Among the components marked by engraving by the customized machineries of GS Finishing Machines there are the following, listed as an example: tanks, pipes, air conveyors, locks and light cases.
