INK-PAD MARKING
Marking of thermoplastics with ink-pad.
A marking technique suitable for flat and regular surfaces.
INK-PAD MARKING
Ink-pad marking happens by contact between the surface of the article and the marking device, made by a pad. The pad surface has an alpha-numeric code on it: it is first soaked in ink by contact with an ink-pad and then pushed against the surface of the article to mark.
Ink-pad marking is a very simple technique, whose functioning is similar to printing. It can mark alpha-numeric codes and logos, and it can be applied only on flat and regular surfaces.
The articles marked with ink-pad can be produced by means of injection moulding, extrusion moulding, compression moulding, thermoforming, blow moulding, suction 2D/3D (2k) and rotational moulding.
Among the components marked with ink-pad by the customized machineries of GS Finishing Machines there are the following, listed as an example: tanks, pipes, air conveyors, locks and light cases.
