PRESSURE INSERTION
Insertion of inserts into plastics by means of progressive-action devices.
PRESSURE INSERTION
The pressure insertion uses the push generated by an adequately dimensioned device to insert the element into the pre-moulded hole.
As for thermoplastics, the insertion requires adequately dimensioned devices with progressive-action, without a hammer-like blow. In this case there can be the need for the insert to freely rotate in the direction of the knurling: it is then recommended the use of a punch with polished surface or supplied with a bearing that allows the free rotation of the insert.
The pressure insertion can be used on articles produced by means of injection moulding, extrusion moulding, compression moulding, thermoforming, blow moulding, suction 2D/3D (2k) and rotational moulding.
Among the components into which the machines of GS Finishing Machines have pressure-inserted components there are the following, listed as an example: battery boxes, automotive pedalboards, supports for the steering column, filter boxes, tanks, pipes, conveyor ducts, light cases, accessory components and other components for household appliances, accessory components of any nature.
