ASSEMBLY
Assembly of articles made of hard and soft thermoplastics with seven different techniques: heat insertion, pressure insertion, ultrasonic insertion, roto-friction insertion, screwing, riveting and clinching.
ASSEMBLY
GS Finishing Machines designs and produces devices for the assembly of thermoplastic articles. Inserts and components can be inserted into the semifinished article with the following techniques:
- heat insertion
- pressure insertion
- ultrasonic insertion
- roto-friction insertion
- screwing
- riveting
- clinching.
The assembly technique to be used is decided each time depending on the material into which the insert must be inserted. It is possible to insert components on both hard thermoplastic materials and soft ones: it is just necessary to choose the right method.
The inserts can be of the same thermoplastic material of the article into which they are installed or of a different one. Besides, the insert can be made of a completely different material, for example metal.
The machineries of GS Finishing Machines can assemble articles produced by means of injection moulding, extrusion moulding, compression moulding, thermoforming, blow moulding, suction 2D/3D (2k) and rotational moulding.
Among the articles assembled by the machines of GS Finishing Machines there are the following, listed as an example: battery boxes, filter boxes, tanks, pipes, conveyor ducts, light cases and accessory components of any nature.
